Your heart has already been heard and there is no fear in love.

"Love until it hurts, then love some more." // Mother Teresa

i am rachel, at your service. i am eighteen. Love gives everything and there is a necessary dying that must take place in order to truly see that. Although i see much insight and wisdom to this life from many spiritual prophets and leaders throughout history, Jesus of Nazareth is holding my hands, His story is the biggest influence in my life. He has shown me what G-d's hopeful and everlasting love and scandalous grace is like.

i can try to love you as i was loved first. This is my outlet on the journey of being one with my Lover. It is a snippet to a bigger story, a part of a greater whole. Adventures with old and new friends and all artwork are my favorite things and i am a strong believer in living a life of sacrifice, simplicity, peacemaking and equality as a means to loving others.

There probably is no god. So stop worrying and enjoy yourself. Explore the wonders of the universe. Treat humans and animals with respect. And for christ's sake, think for yourself. Educate yourself. You're better than that, love!

You jumped from Chelsea, then to me? That is silly. Belief and unbelief are things i’ve been pondering with lately, so your remark is quite timely. But don’t be so judgemental anon! Seeing what you posted on Chelsea’s ask box, you are committing the same disrespect that the “religious” people you so despise commit. Which, she did try telling you, but you chose otherwise…

I have met so many people who believe in G-d or agnostic or are open to the possibility of a G-d and these folks happen to love other human beings and love animals and love the environment and think the wonders of the universe are amazing and awe-inspiring! In my personal experience, science is a reason to marvel at the idea that there IS a G-d, it doesn’t have to mean the opposite. If a person crosses from belief to unbelief because of scientific reasons… their faith must have been shallow. There’s no way to disprove G-d by using science.

Science is basically the study of repetitive phenomenon, unlike history that is the study of phenomenon that cannot be replicated (such as the fall of the Berlin Wall or the crucifiction of the person Jesus). We are too quick to assume we know everything, too quick to become cynics. My biology teacher believes in evolution and she still loves Christ. My writer friend believes in parallel universes and marvels at them and still loves Christ! i have met folks who don’t believe in a G-d, want nothing to do with human-kind, our animal kin, and the environment. Not all non-believers are saints, just as not all believers are holy. What we do truly reflects what we believe. i’m sorry that you feel all folks that follow a spiritual tradition are uneducated, ignortant and disrespectful. i believe that true faith has nothing to do with organized religion. It is more like falling in love, dear anon… So, if you’re a real person, show your face sometime and come to Wild Goose festival!

I don’t understand why you would say these things…You obviously haven’t read my blog to assume that i don’t educate myself or value humans and animals. If you wish the world to be a better place, i’d suggest you take your own advice and stop being disrespectful to other human beings. When you judge them, you have no time to love them.
